Indian Spices

Spicy

Spices used in fragrances can be made from seeds, fruits, barks, roots, leaves, and flowers of many different plants. This broad group of notes can evoke the whole spectrum of olfactory experiences from warm and intense (cinnamon, pepper, cloves, ginger) to gentle and fresh (coriander, caraway and cardamom).

Some notes, such as precious hand-picked saffron, are extremely expensive. This small flower in the Iris family has a bittersweet, hay-like and earthy, leathery fragrance profile.
